Mocha Cappuccino Grande Please

Every Law Firm's Problem:  Decoding and Engaging Millennials

As Managing Partners, Lawyers, Law Firm Administrators and Legal Marketers, we must understand how to engage Millenniels!

Entitled, lazy…or the next Greatest Generation? The seemingly controversial Millennial generation has been judged and labeled in unending news coverage.

One point, however, is incontrovertible—they are our future. At 80 million strong, by 2020 Millennials will represent nearly half the U.S. workforce. 28% already have leadership roles.

Technology, education and upbringing have combined to produce major differences in the way this generation works and communicates—creating significant workplace impact.

In this interactive session, we will cut through the hype and focus on the skills required to address the generational impact on communication styles, work habits, motivators, and expectations.  You will learn five strategies for decoding Millennials, integrating the multigenerational workforce and improving productivity, including how to:

·      Identify the two major societal factors that have shaped the Millennials

·      Connect the dots—see how the Millennial workforce is having major impact on six areas of bottom line productivity and profitability

·      Discover what Millennials say they want from their organizations vs. what organizations say Millennials need for success

·      Find clear and concrete solutions you can use immediately for productive hiring, development, engagement and retention of Millennials.

Our speaker:

Suzanne F. Kaplan, president of Talent Balance, understands the daunting task leaders face in juggling the needs and challenges of five distinctly different generations in today’s workplace. She also knows that without investing in those generations, organizations will not remain competitive  She encourages organizations to look beyond generational stereotypes and identify common ground that fosters collaboration and engagement to ensure full utilization of employees’ talents.

Suzanne teaches businesses how to improve communications, innovation and productivity across multiple generations.  Her clear solutions lead to effective leadership at every level, and a better bottom line.
