Responsibilities:

Our Client, a national leader in professional services, is looking to recruit a self-motivated Senior Business Development Sales Executive (BDE) to join their office headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA. The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving new business and expanding current accounts in conjunction with the practice professionals. The BDE is charged with performing all sales activities that lead to profitable revenue and market share growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Teaming with practice counterparts, the principal activities of the BDE will include:

• Targeting potential clients and expanding current accounts
• Developing sales strategies and managing the pursuit and proposal process
• Facilitating client meetings and serving as a value proposition expert
• Strategize with managing partners following client pitches and tracking pitch results
• Attend and network at business association/organization events and provide leads for business development efforts

EXPERIENCE:

For this role we seek an individual with 10+ years of sales/sales management experience with a strong background selling multifaceted business services and solutions (i.e. financial services, accounting, law firm). The ideal candidate will have a successful track record for developing relationships at the "C" level with clients spanning from entrepreneurial to Fortune 1000 accounts. Demonstrated ability to develop a sales strategy and drive the sales process as part of a team is a must.

• 10+ years of sales/sales management.
• Proven record for selling solutions at the "C" level to a broad range of clients (entrepreneurial to Fortune 1000 companies)
• Strong relationship management and teaming skills.
• Demonstrated ability to influence others and drive toward results.
• Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
• Bachelors degree is a must.
