Responsibilities:

Sales plan organizing, reporting and budget administration; web site revisions, updates and formatting; litigation and intelligence reports on prospects and clients; establishing new biographies, and updating and revising current bios; photography sessions and coordinating photographers; non-Philadelphia office liaison for one office; event planning and administration in partnership with outside organizations, including sponsorships and recruiting attorneys for tables and appearances; research article placement, speaking and sponsorship opportunities for attorneys; process check requests and check coding for accuracy and business development budget for acceptability; provide support for RFP responses and pitches as needed; liaison with professional recognition businesses such as Best Lawyers, Superlawyers, American Law Institute, Chambers, Benchmark Litigation, etc., and prepare submissions; solicit information, organize, write and edit the firm’s internal newsletter.  Additional accountabilities can be added from time to time, depending on the firm’s needs and priorities.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree, and 3+ years of marketing experience in a professional services environment with law firm marketing experience strongly preferred.  Excellent writing, proofreading and interpersonal communication skills are essential. Familiarity with graphic design, layout, printing and production is desired.  Excellent time management and prioritization skills are essential.  Being detail oriented and quality conscious are essential as well. Need to thrive in an informal, teamwork-oriented environment that emphasizes responsiveness and the ability to adapt to variations in pace, volume, priorities and needs of the firm.
