Understanding How Lawyers Are Using Social Internet Sites to Market
Date of event: 4-22-2008 Time of event: noon-1:15pm Location of event: Klehr Harrison
The pundits are proclaiming that social media can no longer be ignored.
Will the sky indeed fall if our lawyers don't have profiles on LinkedIn?
Do they really belong on Facebook and MySpace? As always, it comes down to understanding the potential of these tools and determining the best use of limited time and resources.
We're thrilled to have regional social media leader Oliver Picher address discuss these issues with us. Regardless of the level of your experience with online marketing, you'll leave this presentation more informed about these latest tools that are getting some much attention and raising so many questions.
Oliver Picher is a Senior Marketing and Communications Professional with more than 20 years experience in the high tech, professional services, and human resource consulting fields. He is an expert in public relations, branding, strategy, analyst relations, and internal communications and understands how enhancing an organization's visibility, image, influence, and market position can drive the achievement of its strategic goals.
Oliver has most recently been consulting with one of the top-rated wealth management firms in the Philadelphia area, helping them grow their business through "referral marketing" with their current clients. He has also been engaged as a "marketing fixer", working with early-stage technology companies to identify their target customers and hone their presentations, marketing messages, and overall marketing strategies.
Active in social media marketing, Oliver has developed a community-driven online calendar of Philadelphia networking events and writes a regular blog on professional networking in Philadelphia at FunWithNetworking.com.
