Marketing Coordinator

Reports to: Marketing Director

Responsibilities:

Flaster Greenberg, a mid-size regional law firm, is seeking an entry-level Marketing Coordinator for its Cherry Hill office. The Marketing Coordinator’s role supports the Marketing Department in firm-wide marketing efforts through coordination of firm events and seminars, database maintenance, and other marketing support-related activities.

The Marketing Coordinator will report to the firm’s Marketing Director and also will take direction from the Communications & Marketing Manager. Job duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing administrative support for the firm's marketing programs including database maintenance and updating, print and electronic collateral material, graphic design, advertising campaigns, and website content.
  • Providing logistical support for internal and external seminars, presentations and events including guest lists, handling reservations, and maintaining database spreadsheet of RSVPs, coordination of event collateral, and onsite staffing.
  • Performing research as requested for business development purposes.
  • Serving as backup for updates to firm’s website and blogs.
  • Reserving conference rooms and arranging for food and supplies.
  • Scheduling various meetings, conference calls, and external event reservations. 
  • Maintaining project specific databases.
  • Coordinating firm participation in various legal and industry events.
  • Researching industry-related conferences.
  • Assisting with proofreading, fact checking, and other content-related tasks.
  • Updating various directory listings and attorney profiles.
  • Compiling firm collateral to support client pitches.
  • Serving as backup for drafting press releases and posting social media content.
  • Providing administrative support to the marketing department, including processing invoices and maintaining marketing files.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess 1-3 years of experience in legal or other professional services marketing. Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or Graphic Design. Must have outstanding technological, proofreading, oral/written communications, and interpersonal skills; be able to work with all levels of personnel as well as firm leadership; be able to work independently as well as within a team and possess a positive attitude. Must be proficient in Adobe Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator; and MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Candidate should be proficient in social media platforms such as Twitter and LinkedIn, and have an understanding of WordPress and other blog hosting websites. Basic HTML knowledge and experience in database maintenance programs, specifically CRM (client relationship management) software is a plus (ContactEase preferred but not required). The job is highly technology-driven so being able to perform digital marketing tasks quickly, and with a keen eye for detail, is a must.
