Marketing Coordinator

Company: Wisler Pearlstine
Location: Suburban Philadelphia
Reports to: Firm Administrator

Responsibilities:

The Marketing Coordinator will work with the Executive Committee, Firm Administrator, and Business Development Committee in supporting the firm’s marketing and business development efforts.  The position will advise the Executive Committee, Practice Group Coordinators, and Business Development Committee on the firm’s business development opportunities and strategy, lead a variety of firmwide initiatives with exposure to all facets of legal marketing and assist the firm’s Practice Groups and individual attorneys with executing on marketing initiatives.  Wisler Pearlstine intends that the successful candidate expand the position and grow with the firm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison between Firm Administrator, Business Development Committee, and Practice Group Coordinators.
  • Advise Executive Committee on firm business development, marketing and growth opportunities.

Design, coordinate, and research tracking and reporting of firm marketing efforts.  Advise on and develop targets and metrics.

  • Develop marketing events, programs, and client development initiatives.
  • Organize and assist with the successful execution of client events including firm seminars, industry events, and webinars.  Organize all aspects of the events including invitations and registration. Take lead on developing business development opportunities focused on the generation of new business leads, expansion of existing clients, and identify cross-selling opportunities, including new initiatives.
  • Assist with the firm and individual attorneys’ social media accounts, including but not limited to LinkedIn and Twitter.  Create scheduled social media marketing training programs for attorneys.  Develop social media marketing process and policy in cooperation with the Firm Administrator and Business Development Committee.
  • Management of the firm’s active website and content, including attorney publications/blogs, announcements, attorney bios, brochures, and headshots.
  • Coordinate and submit advertisements, logos, and other materials as needed for sponsorships and external events.  Educate attorneys on firm membership and sponsorship with and of external groups, as well as events, publishing and speaking opportunities with such groups.
  • Assist with selection of marketing products for client distribution including design and vendors.
  • Maintenance of firm’s mailing lists, including Constant Contact.
  • Design and issuance of email client alerts and various marketing correspondence to clients.
  • Coordinate attorney speaking events, publication of articles and videos, and the like.
  • Oversee and coordinate firm Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers, and related directory listings, including submissions and updates.
  • Provide constructive suggestions to administration on how to improve Firm processes, tools, and goals.

 

Qualifications:

Knowledge and Critical Skills/Expertise/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from college/university, preferably in Marketing or related specialty.
  • 3 years marketing experience in a professional services organization, preferably in the legal industry.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and oral.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with ability to manage large projects and individual attorney marketing plans.
  • Excellent proofing and editing skills.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word, and marketing tools and databases.
  • Ability to effectively interact and communicate in a positive manner with attorneys, assistants, clients, and vendors.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize and adapt to changing priorities and work demands.
  • Ability to anticipate needs and follow through with minimum direction, follow-up on own initiative.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment such as computer, copier, fax, and telephone.
  • Indoor normal office environment and remote working.
  • Public contact position requiring appropriate business attire and professional conduct.
  • Mobility within the office including movement from floor to floor.  Ability to travel to occasional external events.
