Ballard Spahr LLP has a Sponsorship Coordinator position available in the Marketing and Communications department located in our Philadelphia office. The primary responsibility is project management and coordinating the successful execution of sponsorship opportunities for the practice groups. This position works closely with the business development team, vendors and internal departments to ensure proper execution of sponsorship, conference and exhibition agreements.
Responsibilities include processing agreements, managing sponsor benefits, providing sales support and account management services to the sponsorship team, strategic reporting, and assisting in the development and maintenance of enterprise relations. Additional responsibilities include coordinating lead generation efforts and providing CRM reporting that includes reporting for the executive dashboard.
The incumbent must be incredibly service-minded with a penchant for processes and problem solving, and have the ability to work independently and maintain a focus on priorities while meeting strict deadlines. A collaborative, consultative, inclusive working style is paramount. Similarly, relationships and the ability to quickly grasp the subtler elements of the firm’s culture are essential. A strong sense of urgency and eye for detail are required.
Qualifications:
Requirements include a bachelor’s degree with 2+ years’ of prior event planning or sponsorship experience in professional services marketing; excellent oral and written communication, project management, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Strong computer proficiency a must, with particular knowledge of Interaction a plus. Must be detail-oriented and have a superior client service attitude. Experience working with multi-location teams, e.g., multi-office initiatives and leveraging centralized resources. This position offers the potential for a hybrid work arrangement with the expectation to work in the Philadelphia office as needed. 10-15% travel required. Compensation:
